Sit comfortably. Let your eyes close or soften your gaze. Bring your attention to your breath. Do not try to change it. Simply notice. Feel the air entering through your nose, cool and soft. Feel it leaving, warm and slow. Notice the rise and fall of your chest, the gentle expansion of your belly. When your mind wanders — and it will — kindly return to the breath. No judgment. Just return. In. Out. In. Out. Let your breath be the anchor that keeps you here, in this moment. There is nowhere to go, nothing to do. Only this breath. And now this one. Continue at your own pace, resting in the rhythm of your breath.
