You are having a wave. It is not dangerous. Waves pass. Place your feet flat on the floor. Press them down. Feel the ground. Take a slow breath in through the nose. Hold for four. Slowly release through the mouth. Splash cold water on your face if you can, or imagine it. The cold shifts your nervous system. Look around. Name three objects out loud. Their color. Their shape. You are here. You are safe. This wave will pass. It always does. Breathe slow. Breathe long. You are okay.
